Humming happily, Robyn was cleaning the London Flat that both her and Taylor lived in. It was the first home they ever bought together and it was just the two of them. Of course Mia and the Hanson brothers were round always. Isaac and Zac would come round in hope for some dinner left overs and Mia would pop round for a chat, always hoping to run into Zac. Most evenings would be just Robyn and Taylor alone though. He would be playing the grand piano they had shipped in all the way from Italy, whilst Robyn would be cooking or writing songs on their massive leather sofa all snuggled up. They argued of course, but what couple doesn't? They wanted to take things slow, so there was no talk of engagements or marriage with them. Robyn knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Taylor, but wanted his next proposal to be when they were both comfortable in their lives and fought through the battle of keeping up a successful relationship. All worries about Leila and other maniac die hard fans were left in LA and Robyn felt safe in her home town away from all the drama. Everything was bliss.
As Robyn was polishing the wooden furniture in her grey trakies and black baby t-shirt she heard her doorbell go. She sighed as she left the world of cleaning products and answered the buzzing door.
'Hello?' She said through the telecom. There was no answer, but she decided to go down the one flight of ould have been the lamp she ordered online. As she walked towards the large glass doors she noticed a large black SUV screeching away from its parking place all the way down to the end of the road until it ubruptly turned the corner into the distance. Robyn opened the door and walked forward, but not without tripping over something on her way out. She huffed as she picked herself up and looked down at what seemed to be a Moses basket. Her eyes widened as the tiny gurgle of a baby's cry came from the tiny basket.
'You've got to be shitting me' Robyn said crouching down and looking at the small angel in the bed.
'Oh come on!!! How..wha? URGH' Robyn said as she lifted the basket and brought it into the flat.
'This can NOT be happening!' She yelled as she stumbled into the living room. Without even realising the volume of her voice she could hear the baby stir from its sleep and making a face like it was about to cry.
'No no no, don't cry! Shhh' she rocked the basket as we'll as she could and reached for the phone. She quickly dialled Taylors mobile off by heart and carried on sushing the baby as it screeched.
'Hey you've reached Taylor Hanson, leave a message.' His voice was so subtle and sweet and Robyn felt mesmorised by his tone.
'Babe! Come home now, its an emergency. And I'm not horny if that's what your thinking. Just come home now or call me!!' Robyn quickly said into the phone. She hung up and sighed as the baby carried on crying. She had never had experiance with babies or kids. She was an only child and loved the fact that she didn't have to share her parents attention with a younger or older sibling. She was spoilt rotten and always got what she wanted, of course when her parents divorced and moved to different places over the world, Robyn had to fend for herself.
'Please stop crying! I'll sing you a song? Huh...hush little baby don't you cry, when Taylor gets home I will punch him in the eye! Heyy, that's funny right?' The baby continued crying and Robyn had no choice but to pick it up. She lifted the tiny creature in her hands, holding it up under its arms and kept it a fair distance away from her.
'Right. This isn't so bad huh? We're good.' She reassured herself as the baby stopped crying. She took a good look at the child and realised it was a girl from the pink and flowery baby growth she was wearing. Her eyes were big and blue, almost as blue as Taylors. Taylor? She looked deep into the childs face and saw Taylor staring back at her. This baby girl was Taylor's child?
'No way' Robyn said out loud almost to shocked to comprehend. She leant over the basket and found a letter in. She had to cradle the baby in her arms to pick up the letter and read it. She sighed as she sat down and took in what the letter had to say.
'Dear Taylor, this is your daughter. I can't look after her because I'm in no position to be a mother. She is your responsibility now. I've moved to New Mexico to live with my fiancee and don't plan on returning anytime soon. I should have told you about the pregnancy but I fell in love with someone else in the process of it. The baby is 2 months old and her birthday is November 6th. I havnt named her yet so what you call her is up to you. Look after her Tay. Good luck. Leila.
'LEILA????' Robyn shouted, making the baby cry even harder. She didn't know what to think. She knew Taylor had a one night stand with her, which she excepted eventually. This was her worst nightmare. She was happy Leila had no intentions of coming back into their lives but leaving the baby with Taylor was almost heartless.
'So, your Taylors baby girl eh?..well your going to be competition for his attention' Robyn said looking at the pretty baby she was holding. There was some formula in the moses basket and Robyn decided to feed the baby. As she rocked and fed the baby she began to see all of Taylor's features in the child. She hated it. Taylor's first child was suppose to be with her.
'Robyn! Robyn? I got your message! What's wrong? Is it Mia? Wher..' Taylor stood dead in his tracks as he saw Robyn sitting on the couch feeding a baby.
'How long was I gone?' Taylor said taking of his messenger bag and smiling. He thought instantly that the baby was just one of the neighbours and Robyn was simply baby sitting. He sat across from her and read the letter that Robyn silently handed to him. His eyes grew wider as he read on and he snapped his head up at Robyn who was looking away from him, clearly angry. He looked down at the gurgling baby in her arms and put his hand to his mouth in a gasp.
'How do we know its even mine!' Taylor said standing up and pacing up and down the room.
'Tay, you don't even have to look at her to realise she's yours. Here, take her?' Robyn said handing the girl over to him. He hesitated as she put the baby in his arms. He held the little girl for a couple of seconds just staring at her and smiled down at her.
'What shall we do?' He whispered bouncing the baby around in his arms.
'I don't know? She's your child, not mine' Robyn said walking away.
'Hey hey hey, Robyn wait. You know this wasn't intentional. I need you now. To help me through this. I'm a dad. And I want you to help.' Taylor asked with sincereity.
'Help? Taylor we are two 21 year olds who live a bizarre life of tours and gigs. We're hardly ever home and if we are we're having sex or relaxing. A baby has no place in our lives right now!' Robyn said crossing her arms.
'Then what do you suggest?' Taylor questioned.
'Adoption' Robyn said harshly. Taylor nodded slowly still looking down at his baby girl.
'Unfortunatly child services is closed on the weekends. Bloody england just stops functioning on its days of rest' Robyn scoffed. 'So we're stuck with her for the whole weekend'
'Mm yeah, we'll be alright' Taylor reassured himself.
'We got to go buy some formula and essentials if we're going to do this' Robyn said grabbing her purse. 'Come on, hold her and I'll drive.'
'No no no, your not driving my jag.' Taylor said grabbing his keys. 'You hold her and I'll drive' he put the baby in Robyns arms and the two made their way to the nearest store. As they sat in silence in the car, Robyn placed the tiny person on her lap and clungop belly she had.
'You know I think we have to give her a name' Robyn said breaking the silence.
'well you always wanted to call your daughter Penelope?' Taylor suggested.
'Yeah MY daughter. This isn't my kid so think..' Robyn rolled her eyes.
'Well I don't know..I guess I've always liked Anna' Taylor admitted.
'We're not naming her Anna! You want people to yawn everytime she says her name' Taylor chuckled at Robyns comment.
'I'm thinking something exsotic and different. You know, her father is a famous singer. Geldof called his kids Pixie and Peach'
'I am not calling my daughter a fruit!' Taylor laughed.
'Okay not a fruit but something else like Leisle. Or Skye.
'I like Skye. Matches her big blue eyes' Taylor said smiling and looking at her face.
'Skye it is..Skye Hanson. It defonatley suits her!' Robyn said smiling down at the new named baby.
'Yeah it does' Taylor whispered.
The two went into the massive tesco's and Taylor went straight to the trollys. He was about to take Skye out of Robyns hands and put her in the baby seat.
'What are you doing? She's too young for that seat!' Robyn said taking the baby back and craddeling her.
'Well I don't know, this is my first baby' Robyn nodded and went to pick up some dummies and bottles. Taylor watched as Robyn waltzed down the aisle picking up random things that he would have never of thought to get. He thought that Robyn was glowing with a child in her hands. She looked so natural and proffessional.
'You know it suits you' Taylor said analysing Robyn.
'What's that?' Robyn questioned whilst deciding to have a pink or yellow bib for Skye.

'A baby..it just makes you think that's how you would have looked with out little girl' Taylor said not noticing the sad look on Robyns face.
'Mm you take her now, my arms are getting tired' Robyn said handing over the little creature to Taylor and taking the trolly away from him. Taylor muttered under his breath 'I'm such a SPAZ'
As Robyn was picking up the right baby food with Taylor standing behind her with Skye, Robyn heard an all too familiar voice coming down the aisle.
'Robyn? Is that you??' A woman shouted from the other end of the aisle. She walked briskly down to were Robyn was and Robyn instantly recognised the woman.
'Paula!!' Robyn exclaimed and accepted the Italian kisses on her cheek. She was Mia's loveable mum and Robyn had spent her teenage years at the Spagnoli home and became relatively close to the family.
'Oh, so this must be the Taylor I hear so much about!' Paula said grabbing Taylor into a kiss on the cheek. She didn't even notice the tiny baby until it began crying.
'Erm Paula, this is...' Robyn hesitated.
'Mia didn't say you had a baby! Oh congratulations!!! I'm going to have words with that girl to give me more information about your hectic celeb lives. Seems just like yesterday you would be getting ready in Mia's room about to go to an awful london club!' Robyn simply smiled and felt no need to deny that the baby was hers.
'Her name is Skye' Taylor said as Paula gestured to hold the baby.
'Oh she is a little too precious!' They spent the next half hour talking about everything going on in their lives. It wasn't until a slight stink came from Skye that Paula let the couple carry on with their shopping. It was nice to see someone from the past. Robyn almost felt normal and safe.
The two made their way back to the car, but not without being stopped by 5 people saying how cute Skye was and that Robyn was a lucky mother to have such a beautiful baby. Robyn acted grateful but cut Taylor death stares as he stood there grinning at her.
'Don't' Robyn said as she got in the car.
'I didn't say anything!' Taylor chuckled.
'Yes but I know what your thinking, now drive. Skye needs a nappy change.' Robyn snapped.
'What the hell is a nappy?' Taylor said taking the car into 3rd gear.
'Your not serious? When a baby poops, were does it go?' Robyn asked in shock.
'Oh a diaper! Well just say diaper!' Taylor said trying not to look like a fool.
' We're in England. We use english words!' The two sat in silence but then broke down into hysterics. It didn't last long though. Robyn still thought about the reality of looking after this baby. She felt like she knew exactly what to do. Like she was made to be a mother. It scared her to think that she might grow attached to Skye
